Ease back into the swing of things
Don’t jump right back into things today without greasing-up your hand-eye coordination with the OfficeMax “Don’t Shoot Your Eye Out” game.

Check it out at www.dontshootyoureyeout.com
Games are becoming a popular way that companies choose to advertise. Why? Consumers are able to have a more interactive experience with the brand. It enables people to get a sense of the brand’s attitude without the company explaining it in words or a traditional 30-second spot.
The games are typically created in Flash and can be as sophisticated as a first person shooter or as simple as a glorified game of pong. Marketers shouldn’t feel intimidated to get overly complicated with their interactive plans – just pick something that makes sense and do it.
After all – what does shooting a BB gun and OfficeMax have in common? Not much – except for the fact that TBS will be running the standard 24-hour “Christmas Story” marathon, which many of its customers will watch (or have watched). And where is this game most likely going to be played and passed along? At the office…and oops, I just ran out of staples…should I go to Staples or OfficeMax?

This is kick ass. What the hell are these people doing not shoving staples and crap down my throat. these Office Max people obviously know what the hell they’re doing. They’re giving me something instead of trying to sell me something. I wish every company did that.
My favs: roastaturky, reindeerarmwrestling, guessmygift, and conspiracy carols.

Burger King is offering video games starring the creepy King guy. The games are available to purchase at BK restaurants for under $5. Not a bad way to make your brand interactive…while putting a few bucks in your company’s pocket.
