Signal vs. Noise had a great post about the ridiculous overuse of social/Web 2.0 icons on blogs these days. Some of the most interesting points are actually made in the comments. Check it out.

Here at PRpulp, we’re a recent entrant into the blogosphere and instead of littering with little icons, we’d appreciate you telling all your friends about what we’re up to.

Our commitment remains to serve up commentary on interesting happenings out there as they relate to PR and its periphery. We won’t be caught dead posting “PR 101s.” They’re stupid. Instead, we’ll try and weave it in with current events. We also try not to be too cynical or political, but still have a bit of an edge to keep you interested.

We’ve added some new functionality to the blog, such a voting and have restrained ourselves to only include the digg icon over on the right. Please, vote away, digg until you can’t dig no mo’, and tell your friends all about the Pulp. We’re here to stay and want to grow this little project into something bigger – into something that can truly help you in your everyday life.
